Holiday - 2006/10/16

We went to the beach at Merimbula before breakfast. We had a nice long walk – Stpehen had Tonky with him. Stephen & Mike dug two deep holes joined by an equally deep but narrow channel while Taemar exercised.

After breakfast we walked along the boardwalk, and we looked for crabs & fish. Then we went out to the headland & looked for whales. We didn’t see any whales but we had a great time playing on the rocks.

We left Merimbula at 11:30am and traveled to Eden, which is only 25km from Merimbula. We had sandwiches at a park overlooking the Ocean.

We then drove to Lakes Entrance in Victoria. Stephen watched Winnie The Pooh (lots of giggles while he watched this), Postman Pat, and Fireman Sam.

We found a nice Caravan Park & are staying in a brand new cabin with all the niceties you’d want.

We went for a long walk along the Lakefront & out to 90 mile beach – Stephen rode his bike while Taemar jogged & Mike strolled.

Tonight we went to the club for dinner – we were starving. Stephen had fish & chips, and then ice-cream! We got back to our cabin at 7:34pm & Stephen was in bed and asleep by 7:40pm!
